Oleg Atbashian - 1/15

David Horowitz recommends everyone read his book.
Breitbart liked him. Rush Limbaugh praises him.

His hilarious satire endears conservatives to him, outrages liberals. Now we get to enjoy him right at Tea Party Manatee—he’s Oleg Atbashian, native of Ukraine, now residing in Florida, and ruffling leftist feathers online and around the US. He’ll be our speaker Tuesday Jan 15 at 6 pm at TPM at Mixon’s. Don’t miss it!!

Here's some of what you missed? Oleg Atbashian Jan 15 Highlights

  • Oleg Atbashian came to the US in 1994 hoping to experience a free country but has experienced instead a growing slide into socialism and loss of individual freedom.
  • Online sales of his is all-red product, The People’s Cube were blocked by “online stores that hire lots of social justice warriors.” They demanded he get a license to sell from the creator of the Rubik’s Cube.
  • Turns out that man, Erno Rubik, is a Hungarian very familiar with socialism. As for giving Oleg permission to sell his version—Rubik was happy to do so—for free!
  • Noting the fake news in media in the US today, Oleg told about a friend of Lenin’s, Nikolai (last name needed) who said, “We demanded free press because we needed the Marxists to come to power.” Once in power Lenin and the other Marxists ended civil liberties. As is typical in totalitarian rule, later Nikolai was executed.
  • In the USSR, there was no crossing the border. They not only had a wall, but their wall had landmines, barbed wire, and guards that would shoot anyone crossing.
  • He said the Soviets promoted and translated certain US books and Hollywood types: As a student he read a propagandized version of Leftist John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath. The Soviets liked Jane Fonda.
  • Trying to achieve communism, Oleg said, the Marxists paid millions for socialist political victories in countries around the world, while their own country’s citizens starved.
  • Socialism stifles innovation. He said engineers’ inventions and innovations were adopted instead by the US and other countries—and then the Soviet government had to buy them back to be able to use them.
  • Even today with internet information freely available, many citizens in Russia choose to believe the government propaganda.
