On the Constitution: Thought of the Week

Dear Patriots,

YOU CANNOT OBTAIN DIFFERENT RESULTS BY ELECTING THE SAME PEOPLE TO OFFICE.  I am amazed to see patriotic Republicans still supporting the same candidates and still conducting "politics as usual."  Our only hope against our tyrannical, oppressive, illegal federal government is to elect state and local representatives who will stand against the federal government.

Our only hope is to elect men and women who know that their oath of office REQUIRES them to defend our Constitution against EVERY unconstitutional, ultra vires act of our federal government.  Our only hope lies in electing state representatives who will repeal the 17th Amendment to restore our States' representation in Congress and to restore the system of checks and balances given to us by our founding fathers - without endangering any other aspect of our Constitution.  Our only hope is to elect those who will repeal the 16th Amendment, eliminating the federal government's ability to by-pass the states and to inflict tyranny directly upon individuals. Our only hope is to elect those who know that the purpose of government is to secure our God-given inalienable rights and who know what those rights are!  Our only hope lies in electing representatives who know that our federal government has no powers except those few, defined, specifically enumerated powers delegated to it in our Constitution.  Our only hope is to elect men and women who will not cower in the face of a tyrannical judicial decree or federal mandate.

DO NOT SUPPORT ANY CANDIDATE WHO DOES NOT HAVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE ATTRIBUTES AND GOALS. Do not support any politicians - especially career politicians. WE MUST ELECT PATRIOTS. WE MUST ELECT ONLY COURAGEOUS MEN AND WOMEN WHO WILL PLEDGE THEIR LIVES, THEIR FORTUNES AND THEIR SACRED HONOR FOR OUR LIBERTY!

Are you afraid of the proposed federal census?  Then elect state and local representatives who will protect you from it.  Elect a governor who will not allow federal hirelings into the state.  Are you afraid of federally rationed medical care that will outlaw private insurance?  Then elect men and women who know that the federal government has no constitutional power over medical care and who will refuse to implement it.  Are you afraid of FEMA concentration camps?  Then  elect state and local representatives who will not allow them to exist in their geographical location and who will appoint police chiefs who will protect us.  Elect a governor who will call forth a state militia to protect us.  Are you afraid that the federal government will trample your inalienable right to protect your life, your liberty and your property by confiscating your weapons? Then elect sheriffs, mayors, governors, city councilmen and county commissioners who will refuse to confiscate our arms and who will protect us from any who would.

Let's Roll, Patriots!

My Plan for Restoring Liberty:

  1. All states refuse all federal funding.
  2. All federal funding refused by the states is used to eliminate the federal deficit.
  3. The states eliminate the federal income tax and not replace it with any other type of federal tax, allowing Americans to once again fund communities, states, churches and the charities of their choice.
  4. The states repeal the 17th Amendment to restore the states' representation in Congress.
  5. The states' representatives in Congress reduce the federal government to its constitutional limits, i.e., those few, defined, enumerated powers delegated to it by the states in our Constitution.
  6. Every state enacts and enforces education laws that ensure that the principles of liberty are taught in all public schools.
An elective despotism was not the government we fought for; but one in which the powers of government should be so divided and balanced among the several bodies of magistracy as that no one could transcend their legal limits without being effectually checked and restrained by the others. - James Madison, Federalist No. 48

This balance between the National and State governments ought to be dwelt on with peculiar attention, as it is of the utmost importance. It forms a double security to the people. If one encroaches on their rights they will find a powerful protection in the other. Indeed, they will both be prevented from overpassing their constitutional limits by a certain rivalship, which will ever subsist between them. - Alexander Hamilton.

But ambitious encroachments of the federal government, on the authority of the State governments, would not excite the opposition of a single State, or of a few States only. They would be signals of general alarm... But what degree of madness could ever drive the federal government to such an extremity? - James Madison.
