Tea Party Meeting - Theme: "Movie Night"

Tonight we'll be trying something new! Tea Party Manatee will host it's first "Movie Night" at it's regular meeting - with a Special Guest Speaker via Video Conference. 

At this general meeting we'll be doing something a little bit different. We've planned a "Movie Night" where we'll be showing short videos on a variety of topics.

We'll be presenting Music Videos, Information Videos, History Videos - a little bit of everything. Some videos will be fun, others will be serious - we're trying to educate while we entertain this Tuesday and this meeting will be something for the whole family to enjoy.

Special Guest via video conference: Singer Krista Branch and Husband Pastor Michael Branch
We have scheduled a phone in conversation with the husband and wife singer / songwriter team behind the song "I am America" that we all enjoyed so much. (Information and the music video are also here: http://www.kristabranch.com)

We'll be playing their music videos and they will be talking to us about the music, faith and their thoughts on how they have been embraced by the Tea Party movement. They also attended the Restoring Honor rally in Washington D.C. on 8/28, and may talk a little about that as well.

Aside from the original video many of us have already seen, they have a new video that the group has not yet viewed that we'll be showing that at the meeting as well.

Since there's nothing better to go with a movie than popcorn, Linda will be bringing her air-popper to pop for everyone. You can also bring a bag a microwave popcorn and we'll pop it for you... and don't forget the soda too, if you would like.
